Our lesson program teaches horse and rider in a fun, safe and clean atmosphere that is conducive to learning.  Children ages 5 and up will enjoy our Horses and Ponies in all they can offer while learning to ride.  Another key factor taught is the importance and responsibilities of horsemanship. 

30 Minute private lesson: $45.00

1 Hour group lesson $40.00 (up to 4 students max.)

A deposit of $40.00 is required and will be held for by your instructor in the event of a "no show/no call" lesson. Your Instructor requires a 24 hour advance notice of cancellation, or at the very least 12 hours, in the case of extreme weather conditions please call your instructor first.   We ask that you do not leave messages at the stables; you are scheduled with the instructor’s time slot. If your deposit is used for a "no show" you will be asked to replace it with a current check. 

Young Riders Lessons

After initial introductory of private lessons, most young riders will feel ready to join a one hour class. These obviously give plenty of scope to the more experience rider. During one hour lessons, the basic skills in walk, trot and canter will be practiced as well as exercises to improve balance and co-ordination, reinforcing that special relationship between rider and their horse.

Lessons for the Adult Rider

These take place weekdays and weekends and may appeal if you are a beginner or have decided to take up riding again and want to spend some time learning or improving in a friendly class of riders with similar ambitions.

Summer Camps

Moonlight Stables offers several Summer camps throughout the summer months.The summer camps are open to riders of all levels; however campers must be at least 7 years old.  See the Events page.
